We are excited to offer a new Disciplinary Minor in Rhetoric, Writing, and Media Studies to all students beginning in Fall 2022. The Interdisciplinary Minor was phased out and only available to students graduating prior to 2025.

This minor is designed for students interested in rhetoric, writing, and the interrelated arts of media. Core courses provide students with extensive opportunities to develop their writing in various genres and examine rhetorical theories and practices. Elective courses explore social, cultural and field-specific topics in language, logic, persuasion and multimedia modes of communication.

For those seeking the Rhetoric, Writing and Media Studies minor and an Experiential Certificate, please be advised that you can count one course only towards both the minor and a certificate. In addition, no course can count towards multiple certificates.

Please visit the Trinity College Bulletin for the requirements for the Rhetoric, Writing, and Media Studies minor.
